hey everyone! we’re playing two super fun shows this week!
on wednesday, 3/28, we’ll be down in indian at the brown bear saloon celebrating thomas’s being in alaska for a year! fire island, ak, b boi$ on acid, and the giant tongue that ate chicago will be playing too! this show’ll be $5 at the door
on friday, 3/30, we’re playing the second annual a+r showcase at koots. be sure to come out early because we go on at exactly 8.50! we’ll have new steffi-designed patches and buttons that kat scratch beaver + philty phil made for us too! nine other amazingly awesome bands are playing too including evil ted + the thick pink antiseptic, the sweeteners, and the rocket surgeons. we’ll be playing for the owner of dangerbird records, producer tony hoffer, and in de groot music group. this is going to be an awesome show and you’ll also get to be introduced to all kinds of new bands too! the showcase is $5 at the door

hey guys!
if you didn’t know, our first album, ‘sunshine, lollipops, + hand grenades’, is available for free download over on our bandcamp page! it’s an acoustic hootenannay and it sounds completely different from what we’re doing now, but i still think it’s a fun listen! we’re working on bringing a few more songs from the album into our electric set, so stay tuned!
also, we have some shows coming up in march and april that we hope you can make it out to!
march 9th at the s lounge with evil ted, saucy yoda, + mythological horses [$10 cover]
march 18th at koots with goat rodeo for live and local
march 23rd at the avenue in anchorage with the sweeteners and friends!! [free!!]
april 14 at the avenue for the anchorage rocks for autism benefit with unseen empire, wichita shadows, and a whole bunch more bands! [free!]
hopefully sooner rather than later, but it’s been hard finding time to get off school and work… le sigh! we’ll definitely let you know when it does happen! we may be playing a few shows in the midwest around the fourth of july if you happen to make it thataways!!
